Tree identification resources

Do you need easy picture based resources to help your students identify trees in or near your school to enrich your classroom learning? The main way to identify trees in Australia is by their bark characteristics.

ForestLearning has compiled a list of web based publications, posters and resources produced by each state to help you – more will be compiled in the coming edition!

Application – great for primary and secondary students exploring the trees and forests at or near your school in the classroom and studying – ecosystems, living and nonliving, identification keys, forestry trees used for timber and wood products, biomes, science, design technology (forest to product).
