30 July 2025
This year, ForestLearning continued to grow its national reach and impact — supporting teachers with free, award-winning, curriculum-aligned resources that bring sustainability, design thinking, and forest science into classrooms across Australia.
Thanks to the support of educators like you, here’s a snapshot of what we achieved together in 2024–25.
New Resources Teachers Love
Ten new resources were launched this year across Design and Technologies, Geography, Mathematics, and Science — all aligned to Version 9.0 of the Australian Curriculum. Highlights include:
- Forest Science Explorers (years 5-6), including PPT slide decks, Forests of Australia Fact Sheets and ForestVR videos
- Sustainable Timber Design: The Phone Stand Project (Years 7–8 D&T)
- Enhancing Biodiversity – The Nesting Box Project (Years 9–10 D&T)
