Join ForestLearning in a workshop at the Australian Geography Teacher’s Conference
03 November 2023
ForestLearning is heading to Hobart for the Australian Geography Teachers Conference! Come visit us and say g’day at the ForestLearning trade stand, that will be open for the entire conference.
And on the morning of Wednesday 28 September 2022, ForestLearning’s own Beth Welden and Planning Forester James Newman of Forico Tasmania will present a workshop unpacking the latest new resources developed with the Geography Teachers Association Victoria as well as the new ForestVR series (we’ll be bringing headsets for you to try!). James from Forico will provide real world case studies on how geography is used in his day to day working life to plan forest estates and protect the environment.
ForestVR™ experiences allows educators extend their inquiry-based learning by bringing field sites like forests and mills to the classroom that would otherwise be inaccessible for in-person field trips. Don’t miss it!
The conference will run from 28 to 30 September at Crowne Plaza, 110 Liverpool Street Hobart. Early bird registration was recently extended to 28 August, so get in quick.
