Going Bush – Residue from the one tree goes to making fine copy paper
Lesson Overview:
Residue from the one tree goes to making fine copy paper
This video follows the journey of a native Ash log from regeneration to harvest, to the mill and finally to production. Nothing is wasted in modern forestry practices with the high-grade logs being used for high-end timber products, to the next grade being used for timber framing to the offcuts being used for copy paper or being burnt for renewable energy. All Australian timbers are sustainably certifed and managed.
