Teaching Case Studies Needed
ForestLearning would like to identify teachers who are striving for excellence in their field. We would love to feature teachers who are teaching their children about trees, forests, carbon storage, products, materials or nature, in our newsletter, website and Facebook. The subjects don’t need to the traditional science or agriculture, we would love to feature teachers who use trees to ignite a creative writing or art class; music teachers to investigate the materials used in the making of musical instrument; projected yields using plantations; or timber in furniture making or design.
We would interview the lucky teacher and get some quotes from the children (all with the appropriate approvals) and supporting pictures. We will use these case studies to encourage other teachers to use resources to re-connect their students to their natural environment.
We would also love the teachers to be using ForestLearning resources but this is not essential – we can all learning from one another.
If this sounds like you or someone you know, then all you have to do is send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your name and contact details and I will call you and conduct the interview.
